Hi and welcome to my first blog! My name is Hannah Michaelsen and I am 19 years old. I currently live and go to school in Muscatine, Iowa where I have lived my whole life. I graduated high school last year and I am planning to have my AA in May. This fall I will transfer to a 4 year college where I will major in economics.
I live with my parents, my younger sister, and two silver labs; Violet and Pilot. My favorite thing to do is hangout with my friends. I love watermelon and my favorite color is sunset orange. I swam and played softball for many years of my life. I have also played the Violin throughout middle school and high school. I love experiencing new things and listening to people tell their stories.
So why World Race?

This past year has been a year of growth and change in my life. I decided to check out World Race and saw it as an opportunity to make my faith my own.

This trip is a way for me to really open up to God and let Him guide my decisions.

This trip is a way to grow in my relationship with Him.

I really just want to see what God can do when I am out of my comfort zone!
